Job Description
The QA Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing quality assurance, testing and validation of releases to ensure compliance with Novator's quality standards, product specifications, and documented requirements.
Qualifications
Education
Degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

- Thorough understanding of QA processes and practices
- Hands-on proven experience with testing and QA tools
- Preferably some technical literacy or exposure to application development
- Must have a working knowledge of the Web and an understanding of e-commerce
- Must have excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
- Experience working with design and development professionals
- Familiarity with Automated Regression Testing tools such as QA Wizard or WinRunner

| Key Responsibilities |
- Participate in project planning by reviewing, analyzing and providing feedback on Business Requirements, Use Case and User Interface Specification documents
- Assist in providing time estimates for all testing efforts during the development life cycle
- Interact with internal/external customers to fully understand new features and enhancements
- Responsible for developing test plans that present test goals and functional coverage of all requirements
- Responsible for creating and executing detailed test cases and other test documentation to ensure end-to-end test coverage
- Responsible for creating the necessary test data to ensure testing coverage
- Thoroughly document defects based on Novator’s Defect Management Process
- Work closely with the project team to prioritize bug fixes based on the number and/or severity of defects
- Timely verify bug fixes to meet project schedules
- Analyze test results and provide daily status and test summary reports to project Leads
- Provide QA recommendations regarding release management; discuss test results with the project team and present risks and recommendations
- Assist in identifying, managing and resolving QA and UAT issues and work with the Project Manager for post-launch testing efforts
- Communicate with all project team members as necessary to share product knowledge or to assist in testing on other teams
- Create and maintain Automated Regression Tests
